World Witnessing Founders
Christine Gerike is a life-purpose coach, guide, and facilitator. She initiated the first GSW online group in 2017, following a deep personal calling to explore inner world-space in community as our "final frontier". Since then, Christine has devoted time and energy to refine her understanding and co-create learning environments around witnessing. She is co-founder of worldwitnessing.org, and of the GSW competence center at the Pocket Project. She is a member of Thomas Hübl´s Core Group and a graduate of the Pocket Project training.
Manda Johnson is a dancer, facilitator and somatic therapist. She coaches, leads workshops and facilitates business leadership development for Collective Intelligence in Aotearoa New Zealand. She is co-creator of Witnessing Me in the World and the World in Me and has been developing and facilitating GSW practice since 2017. Manda is a graduate of Thomas Hübl’s Pocket Project training - Collective and Intergenerational Trauma Integration and a member of Thomas's Core Group.
Robert Buxbaum is a certified coach, social activist and former executive leader of large-scale public and private organizations. He is a graduate of Thomas Hübl’s Timeless Wisdom and Collective and Intergenerational Trauma Integration trainings, a member of Thomas' Core Group, and has worked to develop and refine GSW practice since 2017. Robert facilitates GSW Practice Groups and co-created "Witnessing Me in the World and the World in Me", a six session webinar series that teaches the principles and practice of GSW.
Witnessing Meta Group & Associates
The Witnessing Meta Group meets monthly with Christine, Manda and Robert to debrief the learning from our ongoing GSW practice group and other witnessing sessions we facilitate, and to tune into the emergent future of world witnessing. Several Meta Group members are also associates in co-facilitating world witnessing practice groups and other projects.
Rhonda Mills is a coach, trainer and facilitator with advanced certifications in transformational leadership, nonviolent communication, meditation, subtle competencies, and embodied movement. She is a NARM-Informed Professional (Neuro-Affective Model for working with Complex Trauma) and recently obtained an Embodied Social Justice certificate. For more than two decades, Rhonda has synthesized multiple approaches to facilitate emergence, vertical and horizontal development, and integration for individuals and groups. She is a practitioner in Thomas Hübl’s courses and community since 2018, and is enthusiastic about Global Social Witnessing, which she began co-facilitating in 2021.
Cheryl Sarno is a permaculturalist by heart, learning to listen to what is needed to heal the soil so growth may be restored to its natural knowing. In self, land and community, Cheryl bows to the intelligence of not knowing and trusting the wisdom of the Earth. A weaver, believer and witnesser of our times.... Cheryl is a graduate of the Pocket Project training - Collective and Intergenerational Trauma Integration and has been a long time participant in GSW practice, joining as a Meta Group member in 2019. Cheryl has been training in Systemic Constellations and regularly co-leads GSW practice sessions.
Christopher Then (Christo) is passionate about the practice of Global Social Witnessing and the art of hosting we-space anchored processes. He holds a Masters degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and is engaged in purpose guiding and workshop facilitation. He has basic training in internal family systems therapy, family constellations, community building, men-work and other practices. His research interest is sacred activism and the potential of spiritual practice to facilitate transformation. Christo co- facilitates GSW Practice Group sessions.
Ingrid Pickel is a theatre-director, Integrative Drama Therapist, performer, and coach. She holds a master’s degree in Politics, History, and French literature. She teaches improvisation, which combines the kinesthetic knowledge of dance with the emotional power of theatre and the commitment to the now. She facilitates theatre projects and offers creative spaces, to enable authentic expression and the emergence of 'we spaces'. She is a long-term student of Thomas Hübl, a graduate of the Pocket Project training and participant in the Coregroup. Ingrid co-facilities GSW practice sessions.
